Brown Car Guy

Shahzad Sheikh AKA the BrownCarGuy, has been a motoring journalist and content creator for 35 years, working professionally in the UK and Middle East. 

He launched the Parkers website as Online Editor in 2000, and was the editor of Car Magazine’ Middle East franchise edition, whilst later co-founding Motoring Middle East, and hosting a car show on FOX MENA TV, as well as being a regular on Dubai Eye’s weekly CarTalk show. 

He maintains that he was Saudi Arabia’s first motoring journalist back in 1989, but more recently, having relocated back to London, he launched the BrownCarGuy YouTube channel in 2019. He also writes for and provides content to numerous organisations and channels, including MotorEasy and The British Motor Show, as well as hosting and running live events. 

The BrownCarGuy drives a black 1989 BMW 325i.
